majority of the people who knows me will always label me as someone's who anti malaysia. they feel that whatever i say and do is always against malaysia. i am inspired to write this because i'm just being labelled by someone as a malaysian-hater. yes, i admit i do have some deep hatred towards certain things in malaysia. i hate malaysia's biased policies. i hate malaysia's slacker police forces. i hate malaysia's ever rising crime rate. i hate malaysia's public services. but does it mean that i hate malaysia? no. i love malaysia, indeed.

what i feel for most malaysians is that they can't differentiate between loving malaysia and loving the malaysian government. i love malaysia, but i hate malaysian government. it's no secret. what's up with all the biased policies? crime rates? corruption? being critical of all these equals hating malaysia? you guys are so wrong.
if we really love our country, we will hope to see that our country is going in the right direction. nothing is wrong with malaysia, it's the people that manage malaysia to be blamed. ahhhh..yeah, mahathir,abdullah, and etc etc, semua sama aje.
people like khairy jamalluddin who once called bloggers monkeys, is a blogger himself now. this tells you who's the actual monkey.since election, so many of our "leaders" have resorted to blogging. cheapo betul. now only you blog, where's your sincerity.

many people are living in denial. just because you love malaysia, does it mean that we must accept accept corruption, high crime rates, rapes and etc as part of our culture? what about all those unfair policies, which favours only the bumiputeras? how are they different from us? aren't we borned and grew up in the same country? having only one country to call home? so what seperates us? yes, just by skin colour alone.why do millionares with slightly darker skin enjoys 15% discount on big mansions, where as people from other races who are living on the edge don't have these privileges? i wonder what's so special about them?it seems to be pre-determined in heaven or hell whether we enjoy these so called special rights.

and many people will come and tell me "aiya, malaysia is like that 1 la" .yeah, it's like that because there exist people like u. people who seems to accept everything the government decides, on the basis of loving the country.
ahhh. fortunately, i am not popular. else, i'll probably end up in a lock-up soon. will be charged under sedition act and kena lock up under ISA.
the government always tell the non-bumis " this is sensitive, we can't discuss this, it was a social agreement" . yes, social agreement is it. but why are we, the 3rd generation, still subjected to the same old lousy policy which drove thousands of talents away? it's understandable for our great grandfather to be treated as 2nd class citizens. but they came from china, we came from malaysia. we grew up knowing only malaysia as our home, yet, it doesn't feel like home sometimes. and why are we, the new generations, so sensitive towards people who highlighted the flaws in our country? their ultimate weapon will be "u anti malaysia la". maybe it's the education system, we are trained since young to accept the flaws without questioning.

having studying in singapore for the past 2 years, i can't help but to do comparison. singapore, afterall, was part of malaysia. lee kuan yew even cried of on the tv when singapore was disingkir from malaysia. but i think lee kuan yew is having the last laugh. look at where singapore is now. yeah, i know what u are going to tell me. "singapore is just a tiny little red dot, cannot compare with malaysia". true, but what singapore have then? nothing. no land, no natural resources,nothing, not even water,omg. fortunately, they have brains. what about malaysia? apa pun ada. yet, singapore's economy now is just slightly smaller than malaysia's. looking at NUS itself is good enough. do you know that NUS was part of UM? yeah..part of UM. it was just the medicine faculty. now where is NUS in global ranking, where's UM? and ironically, Dr.M graduated from NUS. LoL.

haihhh...why can't our government just give whoever is best the job? when only will they stop championing ketuanan melayu? when will the day of bangsa malaysia comes? i believe that as long as umno remains, nothing is going to change. umno election is in a few months time. surely, things are going to get more exciting from here. let's see if anwar is true to his words. a september takeover.

after reading some of my peers' blog, i felt that i am not alone. i am not the only one in NUS feeling the intense stress. many other people, including one of my coursemate whom i do not know personally, do feel that NUS is a pressure cooker. National University of Stress indeed. and many of us have something in common, from a high flyer in malaysia to become mere peanuts in NUS. well, some high flyers are from malaysia are doing really well, i wouldn't discount that fact. but i have to say that singapore is the place where they segregate malaysia's top scorer into different categories. i always believed that malaysia's education system is screwed up. year by year, more and more people scoring straight As. but how many of them actually deserved it? me, for one, feel that i didn't live up the expectation. i am probably in the mediocre category. but having said that, there are some who are doing extremely well too. eg, our doctor friend chiew hui jin as well as wee ling. credit is given when it's due. =) congrates to both of them.

while i can't help but to feel a bit inferior in this dog eat dog world, i am just glad that i'll be leaving for NOC shanghai soon. praying hard that i get a job. else, i will be stucked in singapore for another horrible semester again. to be frank, after the mediocre sem1 results, i kind of gave up trying to get the perfect results, like what i always did in the past. what i do in subsequent semesters is just to try my best. indeed, i don't really feel stress or pressure during exam period, unlike last time. stress and pressure comes from fear. and i fear no more. cos i'll just accept whatever is it.

in pursuit of better results, i gave up a lot of things. i used to be quite sociable, not anymore. i used to be fun loving, and still is, just that NUS doesn't give me that much time to slack around. everytime when i want to spend some time chilling out, i would think twice.
while the friends that i've mentioned above do feel like me, or maybe even worse (i think they have worse results than me) , they are slightly better off as they have a great bunch of friends around them in NUS. i do have one or two, but not a bunch. hahaha. yes! i am greedy! itula! tak mau pergi orientation! served me right. haha.but many thanks to my Malacca friends! lu budaks have been great! =)
but afterall, does CAP really reflects your self worth? looking at myself, have i really move on from where i left of in malaysia? i asked myself, and the answer is no. i don't think that i've improved a lot in these 2 years. such a waste. NUS is such a great place for you to nurture your skills, yet, i didn't take them, just for the sake of maintaining an average CAP. worth it ? i am not sure. only time will tell. now, i am still waiting anxiously for a job in shanghai. that's the best way for me to improve, and grow as a person, in such short span of time.ahhh...geram la..still tak da new companies call me! #%#$^$^%$%@& >=(

i was really happy when i was offered this programme, as i nv thought i could get it. just wanted to give it a try. and i probably made one of the worst decision by not telling someone i that i applied for it.

in pursuit to better my studies, i have neglected you. i am sorry.
in pursuit of a better future, i have also neglected you. i am sorry yet again.
i have been selfish, i admit.
unfortunately, it's too late to apologize, it's too late~~~ yeah, i am singing. LoL.
still, i would like to say i am very sorry.
i am not sure if our path will ever converge again. seems like we are going on a road of divergence.
however, looking from the positive side, this is a challenge to me. it will serve me as a lesson in the future, and i've learned a lot from it. thank you very much.
till then, i can only wish you best of luck and happiness in whatver you do.

It has been a long time since I last blogged. And a lot of thing had happened since. I still remember i was quite enthu to blog initially initially. everytime also got things that i would like to tell you guys. but as soon as i reach for the keyboard, my ideas all gone! haha, it was just so hard for me to translate what's in my brain to the monitor screen. I am learning though. Moreover, , i find that blogging takes up too much of my time, and i didn't really enjoy doing it. each post would take about 1 hour plus to complete. wah lao, wtf, one hour plus le! and each time i blog, i would really like to go all out, say whatever i want to say. but then due to the readers i have, restrictions are inevitable. knn. now i don't care so much anymore. hahaha.

i have so much time now! i really don't know what other things i can do. hence, i blog to waste my time ! and maybe through this blog, i can keep in touch with my friends as well. badly need them, as i am ****ing lonely. hahahahahaha. nola, i know what you guys must be thinking, now only come and find friends. This time, i would really like to thank a few of my frens, who have been supportive and caring through out this period. And those people are Bengkim(kawan baik), Chongyen (doctor love) , Benghay ( sui cai who always ejek me) and elaine =)

The entrance fee for the bird park is $18. quite worth the money i would say, provided if u catch all the shows they have. it's really amazing to see how these birds behaved. i wonder how they train these birds. Even my own 'bird' is not as well-trained. hahahahahaha. =P
come back to these parrots, they are just so lovely. one of the parrots can sing 3 songs in 3 differently languages! those songs are 'ke ren nai kan papa', 'rasa sayang' and 'happy birthday' . then there was a girl whose birthday falls on that day, and the parrot sings a birthday song for her. it's called 'niao ge' ie. lagu burung.

wow..it's been a long time since i have a proper post...hahaha
going to have 1 now.. and it's RAG !!! what RAG stands for ? don't ask me, i don't know.
those in rag are called raggers. sounds rugged. in other words, i am a rugged ragger. haha.

throughout my 21 years as a creature on earth, i have never use power tools before...
however, just in one day, i practically learned everything !!! anyway, none on the tools are hard to use.

RAG is supposedly a top secret. therefore, won't be blogging about it. nobody can see what we are doing from the outside. every single window will be covered with newspaper to prevent people from spying.

here's a little summary over what we did over the whole week:

DAY 1:
tukang sampah as whole day. being a tukang sampah is not easy. we are probably a bunch of the cheapest tukang sampah. we are so cheap to the extend that even the real tukang sampah don't want to collect our rubbish. in the end we have to shift it to another place =.='

Day 2:
given a task, make doors for the cupboards. Seriously,none of us have any real experiences with all these shits other than our kemahiran hidup skills. hahaha..thinking back then, things was so difficult. we had to saw, cut, screw and everything manually.
thank god, now we have some extremely high tech BOSCH tools, things can be done much faster.

for the past one year, i have been speding heavily on new gadgets. here's a list of what i've bought :
1. laptop bag
2. 512mb RAM
3. printer
4. external hdd
5. 2gb memory stick
6. external soundcard
and now...... no.7.....the latest addition to ahyip's family of gadgets... my new pair of earphone !!! crossroads mylarthree !!!

Right after my finals, straight away i went to adelphi, which is a building opposite funan that's selling all the high end audio equipments..here are some examples for you to drool over

this pair of earphone injured my wallet badly. it was bleeding when i left the shop because it cost me sgd65. what's left with me was sgd5. just enough for my lunch. arghhh...i can hear people complaining already...i can hear you scolding me...i can hear you saying that i am very rich...i can hear you saying "argh..this si bodoh spend 65 on such a ugly 2 biji thingy" haha... indeed, sgd65 for a pair of earphone is damn bloody expensive !!! but i would say the sound quality is astounding !! no regrets buying this !!! arghh..i still can hear you complaining...so here's how i justify my recent spending spreeeeeeee~

I don't go out on weekends in singapore
That means no need to pay for transports, expensive foods, movie tickets

The most concrete reason,
i missed MUSE concert !!! mana boleh ?!?!?! that makes me emotionally unstable and in need of a new pair of earphone to compensate.

Printer :

My old printer was behaving like a woman. It will have irregular and unpredictable mood swings.
Takes around 30 minutes each time to fix it when it got stuck up ( either paper or ink head stuck, it sucks and i'll sulk. )
It takes 30 hours to fix a woman ( friends' personal experience, not mine,hahaha) i should be grateful actually that it takes only 30 minutes for my printer.
But i change it anyway. To compensate the fact that i've not change girlfriend. Wahahahaha... just joking la!!! =P

Went to this stupendously expensive restaurant in Starhill called Jogoya.
Guess what's the price? RM90++ per person. Mahal gile.However, the foods there are really really really really really nice!!!! they serve all the mahal mahal food, not cheapskate one. Don't get me started about the varieties of food available. there are at least, dare i say at least, 50 types of different different things to eat. The seafoods are so fresh, and everything taste so good. RM90 is expensive, but it's really worth the money. But sorry la kawan, don't have quality pictures due to my low quality phone camera =P

Went to mynwee's birthday party at night, no pictures to show up for. Waiting for elaine to upload so that i can curi.

Yeah...here are 2 cute cute cute babies...haha.. on the top is my nephew, while the other is my cousin's daughter. Isaac,my nephew is older than the girl by 2 weeks..
Here are some comparisons between these 2:

Size: Isaac is really small size...small in everything.. he has a small body, has a small nose, and a small eyes !!! and a even smaller birdie...hahahah... 18SX!!!

the girl ( i don't know her name) is much bigger in everything. you can really feel how heavy she is when u carry her

I like Pak Lah. He has an honest face. He has a nice smile. For a time he looked like a man who could be trusted.

However....A lot of people in the blogosphere already debated about our PM's level of intelligence... and here's something i found really interesting..Below is something i took from Wikipedia..

I met one of the SPI (Singapore Paranoid Idiots) yesterday. Found them really interesting, so I decided to share with you guys. Apparently, there are this bunch of people who are really paranoid in my opinion. Basically, They share the same hobby as me, lepak in the midnight, until their mama call only willing to go home. However , while I go mamak, they go makam. Don’t get me wrong, they go makam not to makan.
they go makam to cari kawan.

Actually they are the Singapore Paranormal Investigators. Well, in other words, Singapore’s ghost busters. Wow, these people boh kia si 1. While I am scared of hantu will come and find me, they go and find hantu.

SPI in action

Actually I was in Temasek Hall’s sneak preview of a new Hong Kong ghost movie called Haunted School. It’s just another kiddie ghost movie to make girls scream like hantu. With all the nonsense CGI and storyline, this movie deserves only 1star out of 5.

The 1^st time I knew about SPI was when I watch Discovery Channel on Astro. They use all kinds of funny modern technology to detect signals by hantu.

So when I saw a guy in SPI shirt, I quickly jump at the opportunity to talk to one of the paranoid guys. Here’s a summarized conversation between us.

Me : hi, you guys from SPI?

SPI : ya.

Me: I have seen you guys on Discovery channel before. Basically what you guys do?

SPI : Our goal is to gather and collect data that will lead to a better understanding of all paranormal instances such as ghosts and haunting. It’s actually something quite interesting to do. We just want to know more about them. Not to disturb them

Me : So aren’t you guys afraid of all these supernatural things? You all must be quite brave huh?

SPI : well, I have to say that you need big balls to carry out all these investigations. Basically, on average the diameter of our balls exceeds 10cm. that’s pretty huge, isn’t it?

(hahahaha…nola..joking only his actual answer was…)

SPI : well, at 1^st you’ll feel scared a bit, but later on will be ok.

Me: so you have any personal encounter with supernaturals before?

SPI : yeah, actually a small ghost actually followed me for 2 weeks. I was very sick. Doctors couldn’t cure me. ( wah lao.. he experienced before still tak takut…in Cantonese, in my heart I thought ‘kin ko guai zhong hmmm pa hak’ or translate into ‘see ghost before still not scared of dark’)

Me : So how you are still able to stand here and watch movie with me? haha

SPI : My friend, who is a Catholic, prayed for me. So the spirit went away after that.

Me : Are you a free thinker?

SPI : No.

Well, don’t want ghost? Go catholic! Or Christian also can la.. I wonder if he’s a preacher in disguise..LoL.. I wonder he holds what religion…buddhist ? islam? Why need someone else from other religion to pray for you, when you can pray for yourself in your on religion? =.=’

Started an eventful day unhappily. when I showed ‘somebody’ the picture of a girl and telling ‘somebody’ that the girl in the friendster is a lesbian, I was branded as ‘hamsap’!!! Grrr…like that also hamsap, then all the guys in the world who read FHM, Maxim also hamsap la. Actually quite true la, only hamsap guys buy that type of magazines. But which guy is not hamsap btw? But I don’t buy those magazines, actually I don’t buy magazines.. Btw, it was Edwin who showed me that girl, telling me that it’s such a waste for mankind .hahahaha.

So in the afternoon, To get that morale-destructing quote off my mind from ‘somebody’, Edwin and I went to Rockfest !!!

no particular band really stands out, except for 1. My hall’s band ,TH band.

These guys are really fantastic, fantastic in what? No..not their musics..it’s fantastic in predicting the future. amusingly they are called ‘blame the drummer’ … and they have all the reasons to blame their drummer this time..because the drummer didn’t turn up!!! In the end they played without a drummer and did a good job! Planning to ask for 4d number from them tomorrow. Sure kena 1.Hahaha.

So at the rockfest,

Me: I want to chao d. going to pc fair.

Edwin : how you go?

Me: bus 10

Edwin : bus 10? Hmmmm…

Damn…he sounds like he’s interested..good, got teman, then I asked

With a firm tone, he gave me a firm answer

Yes, next, go back to my printer… those people certainly never do their homework… I knew what I wanted when I go there. There were so many salesperson, everyone’s like a hungry dog looking for food. A cliché quote I hear until siennn…” later come and look for me ok? My name is…,come back and look for me ya ” these people don’t know what is shy.. want to earn my money, but all give me wrong info. Seems like I know more about canon printers than them… some can’t even tell me which printer has auto-duplex. When I asked how many black and white pages can be printed on a single cartridge, different Sales Asst. ( S.A.) gives me diff answers.

S.A. 1: ooo..this printer can print 500 pages. Low quality. but still very good

S.A. 2: about 800 pages..black and white..normal quality

S.A. 3: this printer can print 1200-1500 pages..high quality 1.. ( it’s a cute girl, with no brains. Who needs a laser printer anymore when I can print faster and more with inkjet? She thought I am stupid. Want to tipu me)

well, today is 9th of march. each year, around this time , we'll we celebrating someone's birthday happily. whole family would go back to malacca and enjoy ourself. however not this time around, because the person it's my dad.it's my dad's birthday today. it's been 6 weeks since you have gone, and everyone miss you so much. obviously, life is unfair, when he was just about to enjoy life, coming out of retirement,and just got a grandchild, he was strucked with a disease. well, he battled for a year, everything seems fine, until 7 days before his demise, only his condition starts to get serious. I visited him on my 21st birthday, and seeing the way he struggled just totally wrenched my heart.conditions got worse the next day, till the 29th when god decided it was time to bring him back to heaven. we were suppose to celebrate my birthday on the 21st jan, but didn't have the chance as he needs to be admitted into hospital. my mum told me he wanted to celebrate my birthday so much, and hopefully can make it on the 27th. but it didn't have a chance.miss you so much so dad, happy birthday.how i wish we can celebrate for you.rest in peace.

I'll be having my last mid-term paper on friday... electrical paper...sighhh...hate it so much..stress..don't know what i've been studying..feeling so damn sien.. but nvm!!! after this friday then i'll be free!! probably will happily go lepak this weekend. NUS is having a Rockfest at UCC. do come if you have time. and i'll be going to pc fair to check out for a printer =)

btw, i just bought a new external hdd...cost me sgd149..aikss...mahalnya..chongyen bought for rm290 only ,120gb. Mine,100gb. but doesn' t matter.mine is a maxtor!! haha... apparently this shop from SIMLIM came to NUS to set up a stall in the bazaar, their selling price was sgd169. when i passed by, i thought to myself 'ooo...sgd169, ok, go back to my room and check how much 1st' ..then,at hardwarezone.com.i found out that they are having promotion at Simlim, selling only at sgd149 ! ish ish..unscrupulous! niamah..student's money also want to cheat. >=( ..then i went back to the temporary stall in NUS, told the salesgirl "eh,your shop at simlim only selling for 149,here you want to sell me 169 huh?" immediately the girl said 'ok,i call my boss now'..then she quickly go to a corner and call,afraid that i listen to her conversation with the boss.. happily though,they agreed to sell me at sgd 149..hehe..i am happy. saved me to trouble from going to simlim. but maybe i should have waited for pc fair. let's hope i don see my hdd there at a lower price =) normal price without promotion is sgd229
